Post Mounted Solar Array
A Clenergy Post Mount PM6 was used to position the solar array away from the dwelling.

The Midnite Solar charger was selected with future expansion in mind, allowing the solar array to be increased up to 3 kW.

The Outback inverter charger can provide up to 5750 watts of surge power.
The Midnite Solar MPPT charger can provide 88 amps continuously and includes an easy to use display that records energy moving in and out of the system.
Control Board and Battery Bank
The control board brings together the Midnite Solar charger, Outback inverter and associated protection equipment in one accessible location.
The battery bank and control equipment were installed before the walls were fitted, allowing the system layout and cable runs to be planned clearly.
The completed system supplies the household’s essential power needs, including refrigeration, lighting, kitchen appliances, washing machine, computers, entertainment equipment, power tools and water pumping.
A Practical Alternative to Mains Connection
This system provided reliable electricity to a property where the nearest mains connection was more than one kilometre away.
