This 2 kW off grid solar system is located at Goonengerry in the Byron Bay hinterland of the Northern Rivers region in New South Wales.
Designed for a small weekend cabin, the system provides reliable off grid power while eliminating the need to rely on a portable generator.

Goonengerry Off Grid Solar System
The system supplies power for a small cabin used primarily on weekends while keeping essential appliances operating throughout the week.
It powers a refrigerator continuously, along with lighting, entertainment equipment including a flat screen television and sound system, plus a water pump.

A Better Alternative to a Generator
The owners replaced the portable generator they had previously relied on with this permanent off grid solar system.
Now they can arrive at their cabin on a Friday evening knowing the fridge is already running, relax with a movie and enjoy their weekend without needing to bring fuel for a generator.
The result is a quieter, more convenient and more enjoyable off grid lifestyle.
